AI Essentials Pro
Skill Builder
Turn a task you do every week into an AI skill that does it your way. Show it your best work, answer the questions that give it enough to go on, then check the skill, test it on three inputs, and see it beat a plain request. Install it in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot, and hand your team a short guide.
Step 1
Which task should your AI learn?
Pick something you do over and over, where you already know what good looks like. Start from one of these, or describe your own.
Step 2
Show it what good looks like
Paste one to three finished pieces you're proud of, and say what you like about them. The AI learns your structure, length, and tone from your own work, which works better than any description. Take out client names first if you'd rather not share them.
Step 3
Tell it how you do it
These questions pull out the details that make a skill sound like you. Answer at least four, in a sentence or two each, with real examples where you have them. Talking works great: press Windows + H on a PC, or your dictation shortcut on a Mac.
Step 4
Your skill
The AI writes the instructions it will follow every time. Read them like a new hire's training doc and change anything that isn't how you'd do it. Then run the health check.
Step 5
Test it and teach it
Run the skill on three inputs: an ordinary one, one with something missing, and one that tests your rules. If anything isn't right, tell it what to change and it updates its own instructions.
Step 6
Install it in your AI
Your skill is saved in this browser. Pick the AI you use and follow the steps. Each box is ready to copy.
Step 7
Hand it to your team
A skill is worth more when the whole team uses it. Write a short handout that says what it does, how to use it, what to check, and how to set it up, plus a message to send with it.
